Experience and Expertise
I have been studying and practicing social work since 2018 and became a therapist because I felt called to help others -- specifically those affected by the foster care system. During my early years in the field, I worked at a local hospital and senior center. This showed me that mental health needs extend far beyond youth. After two years of supporting the geriatric population, I followed my calling and began working with foster youth and teens in need of mental health services.
As an Intensive Services Foster Care therapist, I became certified in TF-CBT, MAP, Nurturing Parenting Program and Motivational Interviewing. Through this work, I found my passion for supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationships and family dynamics.

I've learned that these problems affect people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. My hope is to help others find healing, peace and fulfillment.
